Current Partners
We are currently teaching seventeen classes with eleven partners in the Washington DC area. IOI classes for the incarcerated are held with the District of Columbia Department of Corrections, the Arlington County Detention Facility, and the Montgomery County Pre-Release and Reentry Services. Classes for people transitioning from homelessness are held with Calvary Women’s Services and Dreamers and Achievers. We teach at Christ House, which provides health services for homeless men, and Joseph’s House, a provider of care for homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS and terminal cancer. Classes for returning citizens are held with Georgetown University’s Pivot and MORCA-Georgetown Paralegal programs, as well as Friends of Guesthouse. Finally, we partner with the Skyland Workforce Center, a community employment training center.
